The concept for this packaging relates to the idea that pasta is often a food we share with big groups of friends or family often at parties and other gatherings. The design reflects the fun and good times often associated with pasta. This idea stemmed from looking at the current packaging in the shops, the majority of it related to how and where the product was made and not the way in which people share it or feel about the product.

I believe what happens to a product after purchase also needs to be considered in the packaging design. This lead me to focus on the way the user would interact with the packaging and the product when they had taken it home from the shop.
